Patras
Patras is the third largest city in Greece, and capital of the prefecture of Achaea. As of 2001, the city had a population of 161,114.
Known for its cultural scene, including performing arts, literature, and the Patras Carnival which is held in Spring of each, Pateas was named as the European Capital of Culture for 2006.
